From time to time, I place Carpenters items on eBay. And I often times find highest bidders to be somebody I already know. So why don't I just list them up here on my website and the first one who sees it will get it if she/he wants.

22 Hits of Carpenters(POCM-1585) banned version
It looks like just another copy of "22 Hits of Carpenters", but what contains here is very different from regular version. A few years ago, somebody who does not know much about Carpenters music became an A&R of Carpenters in Tokyo. He assumed everything with the same title contains exact same track. How wrong he was! He wanted to make a "digital remastered" version of 22 hits and he thought he made it taking tracks from the black boxset...... oops. As soon as it was reported to Richard, this disk quickly disappeared from the market. Probably it was only a matter of 2-3 months POCM-1585 was in the market. Very very rare and sort after item. The brochure of this copy is not that great, but CD plays with on problem.

The one I have at hand is withOUT Obi. Obi is the blue strip on the side of the CD you see on the photo. It is $65. S&H to be from $8 (airmail)and up. What I have is 2 disk very original release from Pony Canyon. As it is more than 15 years old disk, conditon of the case if fair but they all sound perfect!
