You may have wondered how many tracks have not been released and what happened to them. Well, I have often wondered these things, too. So I asked Richard those questions. We want to hear everything and anything Karen sang, even if it's only one or two phrases! And we will be happy to cover whatever it cost! I am a very enthusiastic fan, too!!

When I have interviewed him at his home in Downey. I asked him these questions. This information is included in the Mook. However, since many of you do not understand Japanese, I sent an email to a Carpenters mailing list, Newville Avenue, which operated from 1995-1999, and wrote it in English for the Newvillers, to promote the publication. So basically I do not have any problem sharing info with fans who are interested in Richard's comments. However (and sadly), one of the Newvillers reprinted my post on his website without my permission. Whatever the copyright laws may be, I did not like it. Long story short, he finally pulled it from his website.

I do not want the text to be reprinted again, as it is copyrighted for the publication. If you are interested in reading the English text, please email me and let me know. I have no problem sending it to you as long as you agree to honor the copyright. When you make such request, DO include your words stating that you will not abuse the text, nor publish it, and to respect its copyright.

I just want you to know that Richard is NOT depriving Carpenters fans of such recordings. Most of the tracks reported as "Buried Treasures" are incomplete, and he can not make complete tracks without Karen. Since "Rainbow Connection - As Time Goes By" has been released in the summer of 2001, we can liten to some of the songs discussed in the text. Call me greedy if you wish, but I want to hear EVERYTHING and ANYTHING, including the incomplete songs!!
